The kids did a great job on their MAP testing this week.  Reading and math scores will be sent home with the report card.  Next week they will take their DIBEL testing and see how they are growing in reading and those results will also be sent home with the report card. 

Besides our DIBEL test we will work on multiplication, writing to our pen pals, discussing how people become part of a community, and work on drawing inferences from text.  We are also starting a new unit in science about earth materials.  

Penguin Patch will be on December 10th and 11th and there is a band concert the 17th.  We will also have school Friday, December 19th.
