This week was filled with excitement.  We tried out our emails, got onto Google Classroom and typed our first assignment, and played around on the PARCC practice page.  We have learned how to be patient, flexible, and helpful when  it comes to computers.  Students are using wonderful netiquette and they know what websites are our stoplight sites.  Red for not appropriate, yellow for using caution, and green for good to go.  Please ask your child what netiquette is and what websites are green, yellow, and red.

This next week we will continue getting comfortable with the Chrome Books using our emails, Google Classroom, Dance Mat Typing, and of course the PARCC practice tests.  We will also continue to discuss netiquette and learn that information they put on-line leaves a digital trail that can be good or bad depending on how they manage it.  In reading we will work on inference,  cause and effect, and helping verbs.  In math we will start working on fractions.
