After an eventful day like today the kids should be exhausted and ready for bed, wait, that's the teachers... :)  Anyway, the kids had fun with red ribbon week, harvest parties, and of course the planetarium guy today.  Ask  your child what they learned from officer friendly and from the planetarium.  We have so much to write about!

Next week will be unit review in reading and in math.  They will take their unit 2 test in reading Wednesday and Thursday and we will have our mid math assessment on Tuesday.  We are finishing up our pen pals this week and will start informational writing.  With everything we learned at the planetarium and how excited we were I think I know what we will start on.
